TURN and LEARN after the meeting :The Buckeye Woodworkers and Woodturners will have a turning class following the May meeting. The class will cover from log blanks to turning a green bowl (freshly downed tree). This class is for members that are new to turning or those who would like to improve their skills. We will start with a section of a log, split the log, cut a circular blank then turn the blank into a bowl. Lathe tools will be provided. If you have your own tools, please bring them. At the end or the day, you will have a bowl that is turned ready for finishing or you may want to have a 'rough turned bowl' that will dry and then finished turned at a later date.

Please contact Ben Fix, Ben Fix , if you would like to attend
